Yes, we offer content creation and animation services for projection mapping purposes. We will work closely with you to construct a visually coherent, narrative led production that encompasses the existing architecture of the building, structure or object that will be projected onto.

Any surface is our canvas.
Reflective surfaces such as glass pose their own challenges, due to how they reflect and refract light, but through applying projection-ready materials, we can bring these to life.
Another consideration is the ‘throw’ distance (the distance between the projector and the surface itself). The size and volume of a space will be considered when specifying the number and brightness of projectors required. This is especially true if you want a 3D object projected on all sides.
Finally, audience perspective is always accounted for in any projection mapping project. To create spectacular illusions it requires great attention to detail and planning.

Whilst we aren’t always able to get on site to trial projections ahead of events, we work closely with you throughout the pre-production and production stages of content creation.
Throughout the design phase, pre-visualisations can be made available to show you the content created in-situ. This can be used for feedback and development to your specification.

As you can probably guess, video projectors are the most obvious equipment needed for projection mapping. Depending on the size of the surface, the distance between the surface and the projector (throw distance), and the ambient light, we might need more than one projector. We can account for this by ‘blending’ the projections to create seamless content.
Some projectors will fit in the back of a car whilst some will require us to arrange dedicated transport.
In addition to projectors, we supply the additional software and hardware that supplies the projectors with video content. This includes show control computers and media servers, in addition to any audio and sound equipment that might be needed. -
Whilst we have projectors of all different brightnesses and intensities, the ambient light of the environment is the main consideration when projection mapping.
Outside: Projection mapping in the middle of the day is not possible. For each square metre of an unshaded surface, our sun puts out 127,000 lumens - which even the brightest of projectors simply cannot compete with!We generally recommend that the projections do not begin until after sunset. We will also need to consider ambient street and building lighting, as these will impact the strength of the projections too.
Inside: If the inside environment has controlled lighting (lights can be turned off and blinds can be closed to block as much daylight as possible), indoor projections will work all day.Most indoor venues can accommodate projections.
