- The Rebirth.

Reigniting creativity in the heart of Liverpool

Back in 2015, Focal Studios partnered with Bring the Fire Project to help launch something extraordinary, Liverpool’s first Fire Arts Festival. A decade later, we’re proud to return: Liverpool Fire Arts Festival 2025.

With this year’s theme of ‘Rebirth’, the festival honours its roots while reimagining the future of live performance and public art. Focal Studios is bringing a decade of innovation in immersive media, projection mapping, and creative storytelling to help transform iconic city spaces into unforgettable experiences.

Continuing a legacy that began with Paleo-vision, our first immersive theatre piece created for the original 2015 festival - a stepping stone in our own evolution as a creative technology studio.

Keeping the fire burning

This 10th anniversary edition wasn’t just a return, it was a rebirth. A bold reminder of what’s possible when passion, collaboration and creativity come together.

Liverpool Fire Arts Festival is a not-for-profit celebration of fire, flow arts, circus, and community, driven by those who believe in making art accessible, inclusive, and transformative. We’re proud to be part of a collective effort that supports local artists, brings families together, and reinvents urban spaces through creativity.

Bringing fire to the city over an incredible 3 days - with workshops, live performances, practice spaces, and a headline Fire Gala at St Luke’s Bombed Out Church. Collaborating with the brilliant Bring The Fire Project, we helped transform these iconic spaces with large-scale light projections and atmospheric storytelling.

Bringing our creative and technical expertise to the Liverpool Fire Arts Festival, we designed and delivered a spectacular AV-led Fire Gala Show at the Bombed Out Church, blending fire performance with immersive light and projection to reimagine public space.

Collaborating with fire artists from Bring the Fire Project and community-focused partners like Zest Event Management and St Luke's Bombed Out Church, to support accessible arts, local skill-building, and audience engagement.
