Croome Court

200 Years of Hortus Croomensis

To mark the 200th year anniversary of Hortus Croomensis - a rare and remarkable record of one of Georgian England’s most significant gardens, we partnered with Leo & Hyde to create an immersive projection for Croome’s Long Gallery.

Drawing from the Pages From Nature exhibition, our installation celebrated the vision of William Dean and the 6th Earl of Coventry, whose passion for global plant collecting transformed Croome into a living archive of over 6,000 species.

Fusing digital projection with sound design, we brought the botanical legacy of ‘Hortus Croomensis’ to life, blurring the boundary between inside and out, past and present.

Visitors were invited to step into a sensory reimagining of Croome’s landscape, experiencing its rich natural heritage in a new light during the festive season.

‘Rapturous Delight’

  • “Inspiring and emotional... pure magic”

    Visitor Experience

  • “It's personal touch enchanted us adults who love coming to Croome regularly! Our children adored the music and projections. It was somehow especially well pitched for our 8-yr old son who has autism and finds music very soothing. It was so so special.”

    Visitor Experience

  • "Rapturous Delight is incredible - I love how it’s not specifically Christmas orientated and tells a fascinating part of Croome’s story. Absolutely outstanding, my favourite NT visit ever!"

    Visitor Experience

  • “Authentic. Simplistic. Perfect. Light show in the Long Gallery was exceptional.”

Built on Collaboration

Our long-standing partnership with Leo & Hyde continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible in immersive storytelling. Combining our visual innovation with Leo & Hyde’s musical and narrative expertise, we create experiences that blend art, technology, and emotion.

Projects like Hortus Croomensis exemplify how this creative fusion brings stories to life. Together, we’ve built a partnership rooted in experimentation, trust, and a shared commitment to transforming spaces through meaningful, multi-sensory design.

From projection mapping to interactive installations, our collaborations have consistently explored new ways to engage audiences, beyond the stage and into immersive environments. Whether it’s reimagining heritage sites, crafting digital-first theatre, or building experiences that merge the physical and virtual, our combined strengths have enabled us to create spaces where storytelling becomes fully embodied.

Looking ahead, our partnership with Leo & Hyde remains a cornerstone of our creative direction. As the technologies evolve and audience expectations shift, we’re continuing to develop bold, emotionally resonant experiences that challenge traditional formats. Together, we aim to keep reshaping how stories are told and more importantly, how they’re felt.
